Malaysia to Build the World’s Largest Casino Cruise

Podiumspot Capita Group which is a Malaysian based company has announced that they are preparing to start working on what they term as the “biggest casino cruise ship” in the world. According to reports from the country’s local dailies, the company says that the project will commence on April 3rd and is expected to take approximately three years to complete.

The casino is expected to have measurements that include more than 290 meters long and 36 meters width and will come with 1330 staterooms with a sitting capacity of 900 crew members and about 32000 passengers. The cruise ship will dedicate two its decks to gambling thereby making it the largest casino on the sea. The two decks will have rooms which will be fitted with HD televisions that can be used by passengers to play live casino games.  According to company’s plans, if the project goes smoothly without hitches and stopovers along the way, the casino cruise ship will embark on its first trip in April 2020.

Podiumspot Capital Group CEO, T. Leonard, stated that the project is estimated to cost US$560 million, and the construction will be done either in China or Vietnam. The Sun Daily reported that once this casino cruise is complete and properly functioning, it will enter into the books of record as one of the largest off-land casinos.
