Biggest European Poker Tour Ever to be Hosted in Prague, Czech Republic

The biggest European Poker Tour is scheduled to take place in Czech Republic’s capital, Prague. Pokerstars, an Amaya Inc. brand takes pride in sponsoring this major event.

The poker tour will take place as part of collaboration between the European Poker Tour and the Eureka Poker Tour. The event is expected to last for 12days starting 8th December to 19th December 2016. Over 100 tournaments are expected to be featured during the event at the Hilton Prague.

So far, more than 160 players have qualified for the €5,300 European Poker Tour main event while over 350 others have won the entrance to the €1,100 Eureka Prague Main Event. During the event, various satellites and qualifiers will go live on showing players different ways in which they can win their way to the major event.

According to PokerStars director of poker events, Edgar Stuchly, EPT event always attracts a large number of participants. And with an increase of tournaments to be showcased during the festive season, this event is expected to be even bigger than ever before.

He also added that this tournament is a way for PokerStars to show its commitment to players. As such, PokerStars plans to entertain thousands of players in Prague this season before the event heads to a new destination in January 2017- the Bahamas. He also noted that they would later in the year go back to Europe for the PokerStars festival to be held in London.

Lots of fun prizes to be won

During the event, PokerStars looks forward to offering lots of fun to the participants. Some of the dynamic formats and game variations expected to feature during the 12-day event include poker tournament and chess combinations. There will be a day for the €25,500 High Roller and a High Hand Instant Win Turbo tournament in which every winner in every level wins back their €550 buy-in. Besides, players can participate in other exciting tournaments such as the €120 Deuces Wild “Quack Quack Half a Rack” and the €220 Prague Open.

During the Prague Poker Festival, other important events such as the return of €50,000 super high roller and the popular €2,200 Eureka High Roller event will also be hosted.

Poker’s biggest names expected to attend the festival include Theo Jorgensen, Fatima Moreira De Melo, Luca Pagano, VanessaSelbst, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Felipe Mojave, Jake Cody, Liv Boeree and Marcin Horecki.
